Beautiful boy just about 18!!

Few days back ,a handsome lad of about 18, preparing for MH-CET exams on the bed of Haematology ward, drew my attention.I happened to talk to him.Despite of not keeping too well these days,his lips were red and plump,which made me almost jealous along with the bright complexion and glow that made me almost stare at him.
Since then I saw him regularly for over 4 weeks.The boy who made me almost speechless by his angelic beauty,was fighting a tough thing called leukemia,detected just few days back.The family was quite sure that he will make out of it and were preparing for his application for the exams and all the stuff.Little did we all knew of the terror that was about to fall on us!!
Suddenly he was not responding to any medication and developed all sort of complications we can think of. My heart cried out when I saw the very same boy lying on bed,semiconsious,all bones and no muscle or fat,hairs grown as of a long forgotten shipwrecked,and turned dark tanned as if was roasted in burning sun!! I was looking at a beautiful boy just about 18!!
I know may be tomorrow i won't have to face this horror again.May be tomorrow there won't be any boy with a spark on his face lying there and greeting me good morning!!May be tomorrow may never come for Him!
